If you are getting air duct cleaning done, then you want to make sure the company you hire is certified through NADCA. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association, trains people on how to clean air duct systems properly.

For carpet cleaning, you will want to make sure you hire someone that is certified through IICRC. The IICRC has many certifications that train you on cleaning, inspection, and restoration.
